SPOTONVISION B2B movie wins Industry Video Oscar

In the BP&R Video Oscars 2011

We are very proud to announce that one of the SPOTONVISION videos was picked as an Oscar winner in the first year of the UK Ceremony.

With so many companies using videos as a way to show off who they are of what they do, British Plastics and Rubber (BP&R) has decided to make a showcase of some of the best videos in the industry in 2011.

The top 5 were handpicked for either being creative, inventive or just something different. The winning video was made for Sabic, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of chemicals, fertilizers, plastics and metals.

We asked Banu Kukner, Global Communications Manager at Sabic, why they decided to work with video in their marketing in the first place:

“Because video marketing helps us in creating clear and direct visual communications that carries our message to our target audience in a very refined way in 2 minutes.”

Is video a regularly used marketing tool in your industry?

“No, video in industrial B2B marketing is not so common, but we are seeing the advantages more and more of using video as a marketing tool.”

Why was this video that SPOTONVISION made so positively evaluated in your industry?

“Because benefits and unique value offerings of thermoplastics generally underestimated and not very well understood. This video clearly shows OEMs and tiers how our portfolio of innovative materials that can reduce part weight to bring greater fuel efficiency, meet tough regulatory requirements for flame, smoke and toxicity to enable safety and compliance and offer opportunities for sustainability challenges they are facing.”
